She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin, and Her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She holds national certifications as a Certified Care Manager, and with the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and an Advanced Professional of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
